    Week Beginning 4.11.20.

Week Beginning 12.10.20 - Take a look at our display work based on the Victorian designer 'William Morris'.

    Week Beginning - 05.10.20

This week, we have been looking at the lives of children during the Victorian Era and complete extended writing based on this. We then worked with our partners to peer assess our work and helped each other to improve it before we write our final draft. We have also been preparing some work for display based on the Victorian Designer 'William Morris' and will have some completed work to post here next week!

    Week Beginning - 28.09.2020

Croeso i Flwyddyn 5! We have all had a great start to Year 5. It's been a busy few weeks and the children have been working very hard. Our topic this term is 'Children in Victorian Wales' and we have started this topic by researching and writing biographies about Queen Victoria. During our IT session, we used the collaborative learning app 'Padlet' to combine our research together. The children have produced artwork using scenes from  the industrial revolution in the style of 'Lowry'. We have also been developing persuasive writing skills and have written speeches to persuade the class to share our points of view.
