Here we are learning good hand washing technique. We need to make sure we wash all over our hands and now just our palms!
24th February - Take a look at some of the amazing rainforest projects that Year 3 have completed!
Week beginning 13.1.20. As part of our Rainforest topic, we have been studying different rainforest tribes and have completed art work based on this. We have also been exploring the work of the Welsh artist Martyn Evans and have created paintings in a similar style. This work is on display in the classroom and in the corridors.
Happy New Year! This week in Maths, we have started work on fractions. We have been finding half of 2 and 3 digit numbers and during our reasoning session we completed investigations based on building shapes using halves and quarters.
We have been writing instructions on how to make Christmas decorations.Here are the ones we made! We also had a story-telling session where children read out their Christmas stories while we had some treats!
9.12.19 We have been studying the story of Lars the Polar Bear who got lost and found himself in the Jungle! We also used different websites to research other arctic animals.
2.12.19. This week we have been looking at the skills needed to write a good recount. We then created mind maps about what we learnt on our trip to St Fagans. We used this information to write our recounts. Take a look at the photographs below to see what we did on our trip!
