Welcome to Reception!

All teachers will post information about their class to the 'Latest News'. Updates will also be sent via 'The School App'. Instructions on how to download our app, can be found under the 'Parents' tab. 

Photos are displayed for each class in the 'Gallery'. These can be found under the 'Gallery' tab. Photos will be accompanied with a written description of what the children have been doing in class that week. 

The four purposes of the new curriculum for Wales inform our teaching. Our learning experiences enable our pupils to be:

• ambitious, capable learners who undertake research and evaluate critically what they find and are ready to learn throughout their lives
• enterprising, creative contributors who give of their energy and skills so that other people will benefit and are ready to play a full part in life and work
• ethical, informed citizens who show their commitment to the sustainability of the planet and are ready to be citizens of Wales and the world
• healthy, confident individuals who have the skills and knowledge to manage everyday life as independently as they can and are ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.

PE

PE will take place every Thursday. Please come to school in shorts/leggings/tracksuit and a t-shirt. The children will also need trainers and in the colder months, a fleece or sweatshirt. Earrings will need to be removed or covered with tape before the children come to school.  

Other Useful Information

Treetop Tuesday will take place every Tuesday . Please could all children bring a pair of wellies in a labelled carrier bag each .
