School Senedd/Rights Respecting Ambassadors 2024-2025
Meeting: 11/11/24
During our very first Senedd meeting, we have elected our First Ministers, our Deputy First Ministers and our Secretary. We discussed what we wanted to do before our next session and decided we should look at how we are sharing our Right of the Month with pupils and how many pupils use or are aware of the suggestion box. We will discuss our findings in the next meeting.
Meeting: 18/11/24
This week, members brought pupil feedback from our suggestion box but we want to make sure all pupils are aware of this. We will create a PowerPoint to present either in an assembly or around the class.
We brainstormed ideas to improve our school based on the suggestion box but we have decided that, before creating our Action Plan, we need more information from pupils about what improvements they would like us to make. We will create a questionnaire for pupils to complete with their ideas.

SPRING TERM SUPER AMBASSADORS SPECIAL MISSION!
Each the term the Children's Commissioner for Wales sets a special mission for the Super Ambassadors. As part of this term’s ‘Special Mission’, Year 5/6 have been exploring the costs of the school day and how it could affect families. We have discussed concerns we have about school costs. We identified costs of the school day, and costs of the school year. We thought about how children whose families are struggling financially might be feeling and what aspects of school life they may find difficult to access.
