Parents Association  2024/2025
Calling all Parents!
We are the parent association committee. We are a small but thriving group that work hard throughout the year to raise funds to help support the school and the children. 

PA members are Layla Walters, Vicky Gillespie, Sol Bowen, Alanna Palmer, Charlotte O’Brien and Rebecca Bullen.

We meet each term to discuss and plan events.  During these meetings we will discuss any improvements and educational needs which the school requires.  All ideas from pupils, parents and guardians are valued.

Our aim is to organise fun ways to raise funds that will enhance our children’s learning and development, as well as strengthen the school community.  All funds raised can make a huge difference to the school’s environment and provide pupils with extra resources.

OUR MAIN AIM THIS YEAR IS TO IMPROVE THE SCHOOL GROUNDS AND INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF SPORTS EQUIPMENT, OUTDOOR LEARNING AND PLAY MATERIAL AVAILABLE TO THE PUPILS.

We are already planning events for this academic year, such as the Autumn and Easter Discos, Santa’s visit, a Christmas Fayre, a friendship and wellbeing day, a bake sale, a summer fête and have many more ideas eg a family quiz, a car wash weekend and wreath making.   Please join us if you can!!

This year we have already made a difference to the school grounds and organised activities for children of St Joseph’s. 😊  

 Parent Council 2024/2025

The Parent Council has been set up to create a link between Parents and our school. It provides an effective way to ensure that the school engages effectively with its parents by listening to parents’ views on the education and welfare of the learners and ensuring that parents feel valued. These are this year’s parent Council members for 2024/2025:

The PA hosted a clear up of the school grounds, lots of parents, staff and children joined in! 

The PA provided an Ice cream for every child during our Wellbeing day! 

 

The PA have arranged for volunteers to help maintain the school environment. 

                      

 

The PA have arranged for Santa to come and visit each child and share a gift. 

The PA have provided each class with boxes of games for the children during wet play. 

                       

The PA have provided lots of new school uniform for the school.
