This term we will be starting to work towards achieving our Gold Award! We will be focusing on Targets 2 which is to 'develop an understanding and respect for the culture and language of Wales and be aware of the advantages of learning Welsh'.

Criw Cymraeg are preparing a presentation which will tell the school all about the good things about being bilingual and the brilliant effects it has on your brain!!

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to building the Welsh Community in our school. What a great achievement for our school and we hope to continue working with you all to gain our GOLD award next year!!

Welcome to our Cymraeg Campus page! 

We are working hard to highlight Welsh as a living language in our school community. We have recently achieved our Bronze Award and are working towards gaining our Silver Award.

Cymraeg Campus is our new Welsh language charter that is taking place in schools across Wales.

The aim of CC is to:-

  • Improve levels of Welsh within the school
  • Increase pupils' enjoyment of welsh
  • Celebrate our nationality and all things welsh

OUR AUTUMN TERM 

 

Cymraeg Campus is a target-based initiative. As we are new to the scheme, we are working our way towards the Silver award. The scheme is split into 10 targets that we will be working towards achieving.
