The class text for this term is 'Street Child' by Bernie Dogherty. I have included a copy of the text for homework purposes and for any child who wishes to read the book at home. The text has been chosen as it will compliment the work being conducted in context lessons on 'Child of the 2000s', where the children will apply their literacy , mathematics and IT skills to investigate the rights of children in the past and present. A copy of the context planning has also been attached.
