WB: 17.01.2022 - Timelines!

This week we made a timeline of the 20th Century. This was part of our new topic which explores the sinking of the RMS Titanic. We also started to explore the Edwardian era and created portraits of King Edward VII. The class are really excited to learn more about the 'unsinkable' ship and what life was like for children during the Edwardian period.

WB: 29.11.2021 - Algorithms!

This week the children practised making and following their own algorithms. We explored what coding is and how to identify errors in code. We then discussed how to correct these errors. The children learnt that this process is called 'debugging'. We will continue to learn about computer science next week. The class are really excited to learn more!

This week the children engaged in outdoor learning and practised their spellings using leaves! The class used 'letter leaves' to spell out each word (using this week's spellings). They then read the word aloud.
