This week we continued reading Burglar Bill. The class wrote letters to Bill persuading him to change his ways and stop his burgling. The children used rhetorical questions as part of their writing. Well done everyone!
This week we had a visit from a Welsh Government Digital & Blended Learning Advisor. The children demonstrated their digital skills using Microsoft Teams, Lumio and j2e. The class even learnt how to send their first email using Outlook and Office 365! Amazing work everyone! We are very proud of you. Da iawn!
This week we went on a trip to St. Fagans. We explored the grounds, including St. Teilo's church and Rhyd y Car. During the afternoon session, the children took part in a (Washday) workshop! We had lots of fun! Take a look at the photos to see what we got up to!

This week the class celebrated the importance of books we read in school. We discussed the importance of the Bible in our daily lives.Thank you to everyone who attended. We hope you enjoyed the singing!
This week the class learnt how to use Reading Progress on Microsoft Teams. We are using the tool to improve our reading fluency. We also explored the Hwb environment and practised using Bug Club!

This week we have been using SMART Lumio to support collaboration with Whole-class Whiteboards, Group Workspaces, and brainstorming activities.
This week we have been improving our digital skills using Hwb and jit5. The children created festive paintings using 'paint'. They had lots of fun!
This week we have been practising our Welsh skills using iPad and apps and headphones. We also had a visit from someone very special!
This week we have been learning about computer science. The children have learnt about algorithms. They have found out why they are useful and why we use them. On Thursday, we created our own algorithms! Take a look at the pictures above.
This week we had a visit from PC Cadwallader. He talked to the children about the importance of following rules. The class were then given the opportunity to try on police uniforms. They absolutely loved it!
