Eisteddfod 2022
We took part in our very first Eisteddfod celebration. We really loved singing up on the stage!
Wk beginning 28.02.22 - The children came to school in traditional Welsh costume and decorated a Welsh flag
Eisteddfod/ St David's Day celebration.
Please find below our Competitions for this years Eisteddfod. Children are asked to complete as many competitions as the can over half term and return them to school by the 1st March.
On the 1st of March we invite the children to dress up in traditional welsh costume or wear red eg. Rugby shirt or a red tshirt.
The children will be having a small celebration in school on the 10th March where they will be performing songs and poems and the judging of the competitions will take place.
St David's Day Competitions
Week beginning 14th February - It was so nice today to have Yr 5 into class to discuss them being able to help solve problems with our friends!
Wk Beginning 7.02.22 - The children have been exploring ice and using their senses to describe it
Wk Beginning 31.01.22 - Spectrum Workshop are visiting us this week using the story Elmer to discuss the importance of us all being different but equal
Wk Beginning 24.01.22 - This week we looked at the changes of chocolate with heat and cold
Wk Beginning 17.01.22 - As part of our topic this term we are learning about muck, mixtures and mess. This week the children had to create a simple poem about mud.

Wk Beginning 29.11.21 - This week the children have been getting our classroom Christmas ready! Well done to those children who have won a certificate for the Summer Reading Scheme!
