Year Six - Mrs Houston - Remote Learning Timetable for January 11th to 15th January

Dear Parent / Guardians,

I have spoken to many of you over the last few days and want to express my gratitude for your  enthusiasm in supporting your child's learning at home. I will contact remaining parents on Monday.

As promised the assignment section of the year six teams has only got the learning resources and tasks required for completion this week. Hopefully there will be fewer teething problems. Children need to treat weekdays as though they are in school. Although the Welsh Assembly Government Assessments will not take place, I am still required to provide evidence for the levels of attainment that your child will attain in Mathematics, RE, Science, English and Welsh. For example the extended writing task set this week will be levelled as will the 'Flipgrid' video on 'Dyma fi' which are shared with the children's chosen secondary school.

I know that I, and you as parents share one common goal; that our children achieve their full potential, are kind and thoughtful and understand the love and happiness that comes from faith so they grow into wonderful young people despite the challenges we face at this current time. We can do this together!

Thank you for your continued support.

Stay safe,

Mrs Houston
