Y6 Transition to Bishop of Llandaff HS

       Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s),

Re: Application for Year 7 place in September 2021 - Virtual Open Evening

Information to join our open evening is as below. Our dedicated, secure webpage can be accessed via the following link. To gain access, you will need to input the following details

Username Open Evening

Password Op3nEvening2020_BOL

Our webpage will be live from Monday 5th October 2020. Please so take some time to consider the information, which includes a range of useful videos which outlines what you can expect, should you send your child to The Bishop of Llandaff. You will be able to see images of our departmental areas.

Finally, I should like to invite you to a live ‘Question and Answer session’, with Miss Parry, Head of School and me. This will take place on Thursday 8th October 2020 from 6.00pm until 7.00pm. This is an opportunity for families to ask questions they may have about school life. This ‘virtual’ session can be accessed via Microsoft Teams (Join Microsoft Teams Meeting). In line with our virtual meeting protocols, we ask that you a) switch off your screen unless you are speaking; b) mute sound unless you are speaking to avoid interference; c) to ask a question, simply click on the ‘hand feature’ which indicates to us you have a question(s) and/or type your question(s) in the comment board.

In order to make the most effective use of time, it would be helpful if the presentations were viewed in advance of the meeting so that questions relate directly to areas not covered. However, for reasons of confidentiality, we will not be able to cover any individual student specific questions as it will be an open forum. However, we will be able to follow up individual concerns beyond the date.

I do hope you are strongly considering The Bishop of Llandaff as your preferred destination. I should like to remind families that the deadline for application is 12.00pm on Monday 23rd November 2020

Yours sincerely,

           Marc Belli

            Executive Headteacher
