Dear parents/guardians,
Just a quick reminder about the application process for year 6 child to make sure you are all applying for a year 7 place.
The closing date for these applications is 23rd November.
Attached is the parent help guide for making an application. This might help you if you are stuck.
We would like to encourage you to include as many preferences as you can. Ideally 5 (the maximum) in English-medium and 3 in Welsh-medium (as there are only 3 schools).
Lots of the secondary schools will fill this time. We expect to see some be over-subscribed that haven’t been before so it is more important than ever to get everyone to apply on time. If you live right next to a school that fills but apply late we can only give you a place if it becomes available, if you apply on time you have the best chance of getting what you want.
