Summer Reading Challenge 13th July 2019
What is the Summer Reading Challenge?
The Summer Reading Challenge takes place over the summer holidays in libraries throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Each year there is a new theme to keep the Summer Reading Challenge fresh and exciting. For 2019 the theme is SPACE CHASE - tying in with celebrating 50 years since the first moon landing.
- Children will need to sign up at their local hub/library from 13th July 2019.
- They will receive a space chase collectors card when then join.
- Children read six or more books of their choice as long as they are borrowed from the library
- Familes can come to events at their hub/library throughout the summer holidays
- Children collect rewards as they read and discuss and win a medal and certificate if they complete the challenge !!
