St Illtyd - Forest Schools - 10/05/23

Dear parents/carers,
If possible, please could your child bring a long (longer than 1m shorter than 2m), thin (no wider than your thumb) stick in tomorrow alongside their regular equipment. We will be whittling them down and roasting dairy-free marshmallows over the fire. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ONE! You should be able to find such a stick in a park/forest/garden and the learning objective will be whittling so they will need to demonstrate this skill with the teacher's guidance. If you could bring multiple sticks it would be greatly appreciated.
