RETURNING TO SCHOOL AFTER ISOLATION FROM A POSITIVE TEST
Please ensure that on receipt of the email from NHS Wales confirming your child's positive result, you forward this to the school office for our records ASAP. We will then reply to this email, confirming the date your child will be able to return to school. We are calculating 10 clear days from the date of the test. This is to help mitigate the spread of COVID - we cannot accept any child back into school until we have received the positive test result so we can calculate the return date.
If your child is off due to a positive test result then they will not need to take a further test to confirm a negative result before returning to school.
RETURNING TO SCHOOL AFTER ISOLATION FROM A NEGATIVE TEST
If anyone's test is negative, they can stop self-isolating. Children can come to school when the negative PCR test has been shared with the office and relayed to the teacher.
Please be patient with us as sometimes the class teacher will not be aware of the negative test emailed to the Office first thing the following morning and may have to check with the Office.
Thank you for your cooperation.
