Dear Parents/Guardians,
Could I remind all parents again, that the area we all use for parking is not part of the school, but belongs to St Mark’s Church. They have kindly allowed us to park on their property over the past few years and we need to ensure that we treat the area respectfully.
Unfortunately, I have been notified today by St Mark’s that some parents are letting their children run on the grass and play in the trees resulting in damage to trees along the side of the church ( and potentially children could be hurt climbing the trees). Please could all parents ensure that they supervise their children at all times in the car park and ensure that they walk straight into school from their car at the allocated time.
I am concerned that because of the thoughtless actions of a minority of parents the current arrangements to park will no longer be open to us. If you see anyone misusing the car park, please notify either myself or the office, so that I can ensure all parents are aware of the expectations of use of the area.
The car park should only be used for parents who drive and parents walking children to school must use the North Road entrance.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Stay safe,
Alex Riordan
