We have paid Llangrannog all deposit money and one installment for each child prior to lockdown. The balance was paid into our budget but the invoice payment to Llangrannog was not completed due to lockdown. Therefore, a proportion of the money was with Llangrannog and a proportion remained in our budget.
We contacted Llangrannog on 11th May 2020 requesting a refund of the monies sent to them. Unfortunately, as we were in lockdown and both the school office and Llangrannog’s office closed, this was not dealt with again until July, when school resumed for 3 weeks. We have now been refunded the money by Llangrannog.
It is problematic to refund money that is in our budget and we are in the process of this. We have set up the school as a supplier via the LA, but this again has been a lengthy process due to Covid. Once this has been authorised by the LA, then a refund application form (which we have already completed) will be actioned. Once all this has been set up and the money refunded to our school account, we can start refunding monies to all. We will be sending cheques out to all parents ASAP. Thanks for your patience.
