Dear Parents/Carers,
We hope you have had a Merry Christmas and a happy new year amid all of the difficulties of COVID.
School will reopen on Thursday 6th January 2022 .
To avoid congestion, without disrupting pupils and parents with staggered start and finish times, we are trialing opening the school gates at 8.40 am and 3.15 pm to widen the time for parents to pick up and drop off their children. These are time limited changes due to the higher National risk levels.
Pupils will be directed to their classes by Teaching Assistants and supervised in their classes by their teachers from 8.35am.
Foundation Phase children can be picked up from 3.15.pm and KS2 from 3.25 from their respective playgrounds as usual. Please ensure that you socially distance at all times and wear a mask/face covering.
Parents who drive to school
PLEASE DO NOT USE ST MARK’S ENTRANCE IF YOU ARE WALKING AS THIS CAN BE DANGEROUS FOR PEDESTRIANS.
Please accompany your child through the car park and supervise their entrance through St Marks gate ensuring that you socially distance from other families.
Parents who walk children to school
Please use the one way system and accompany your child along the path and supervise their entrance from the barrier at the grotto. Teaching Assistants will direct them to their classes and Foundation Phase teachers will greet them from their classroom doors.
Please ensure you vacate the playground/car park ASAP,
Thank you again for your cooperation and support,
Alex Riordan
