Dear Parents/ Carers,

We be opening the Heathfield Road entrance in the afternoons only from Monday 14^th March as a trial.

We were hoping to open this week but unfortunately the scaffolding outside year 4 will not be coming down until some time mid next week and this has had to be postponed.

Morning procedures are to stay the same with Heathfield Road gate closed and pupils filtering in through North Road and St Mark's entrance. However, from Monday 14th March the procedure for pupils leaving at 3.30. pm will change. All gates including, Heathfield road will be opened at 3.15 pm.

• Foundation phase children will be dismissed from their respective doors as usual with Y2 being dismissed from the door near the Nursery entrance.
• Y4 will be dismissed to parents from the side door nearest their classroom.
• Y3 will be dismissed from the side hall door near Heathfield Road entrance.
• Y5 and Y6 will be dismissed through the entrance near the school reception area ( Y6 from right hand side door and Y5 from left hand side door.

Please ensure you walk from your entrance, socially distance and wait near the exit for your child’s year group. Waiting areas will be signposted.

Please also ensure that you if you drive :

• Follow the highway code when using both North Road and Heathfield Road.
• Follow guidelines and not walk through the car park if on foot.
• Ensure you supervise your children to and from our gates .
• Follow normal courteous driving/parking etiquette and not block in other cars. 

If you walk, please do not use the St Mark's car park
