As you know, we will be having our Harvest Festival on Friday 8th October.
To help our local community in these difficult times, we will be again collecting for the homeless and disadvantaged in Cardiff as a means of encouraging our children to think of others before themselves and to live out the commandment ‘to love one another as I have loved you’.
Please could you kindly donate any spare food you may have (dried food, tins, crisps, biscuits, packaged cakes and jars etc – no fresh food).
If you are able to donate please put your donations in a carrier bag if possible and give them to your child’s teacher.
Please ensure that if you donate anything in a glass jar that it is not given to children.
We hope to have an afternoon of fun and song that will help those less fortunate than ourselves. Each class will celebrate with a song and year Six wild present a collective worship. Unfortunately, due to the rise in cases, we will not be able to accommodate parents on site, but you can join in and watch a link which will be shared via message and Latest News nearer the date if your child has permission to be photographed/filmed,
Stay safe and thank you, as always, for your support,
The children and Staff of St Joseph’s Primary School
