A course is being held during the school holidays at the Road Safety Centre in Maindy Leisure Centre for children to learn to ride a bike.
The course runs over four mornings OR afternoons and costs £20 per child. This is open to all Cardiff children but they must bring a roadworthy bike.
The rules for using Maindy’s cycle track insist the wearing of wearing of a cycle helmet is compulsory for this activity.
Level 1 (starting and stopping, steering, swerving, using gears and signalling) will be taught using the Maindy Centre’s road training layout.
