Dear Parent/Carer,
As you may be aware, schools in Cardiff annually nominate children for trials to represent a schools’ district team. This team is called Cardiff Schools’ Rugby Union 11s (CSRU11s) and we are affiliated to Welsh School Rugby Union.
We intend to run a training camp for current Year 4 and Year 5 children. This camp will be organised by CSRU teachers and will take place at Greenway Primary School. This camp will give us an opportunity to see possible district players before the September 2019 trials. Please see below for further details:
Year 5 Children
Session 1 Tuesday 23rd April 9:00am until 12:00pm
Session 2 Tuesday 23rd April 1:00pm until 4:00pm
Year 4 Children
Session 1 Wednesday 24th April 9:00am until 12.00pm
Session 2 Wednesday 24th April 1:00pm until 4:00pm
We are anticipating a high uptake for these sessions and availability is on a first come first serve basis. Lunch will not be provided for the children. There will be a cost of £20 for the session which is payable on the day. Children will need to bring sports kit, rugby boots, trainers, gum shields and any other equipment or clothing they wish.
