ALL CYCLISTS AND SCOOTERS MUST USE EITHER HEATHFIELD ROAD ENTRANCE OR NORTH ROAD ENTRACE FOR OBVIOUS HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS. THE ST MARK'S ENTRANCE IS FOR CAR USERS ONLY.

Unfortunately we have had reports of a parent using a motorised scooter with a child moving at speed through St Mark's car park.  

It is illegal to ride any e-scooter, private or rental, in Wales. E-scooters are classed as motor vehicles under the Road Traffic Act 1988 E-scooters can only be ridden on private land in Wales, with the landowner's permission. As a school we do not give anyone permission to do so.

Well done to the children who are riding bikes or scooters to school! It is the healthiest and most eco friendly way to travel. However, it is vitally important that all children dismount when coming on to school property as we have had a few 'near misses' . Bikes and scooters must be 'walked' through the school grounds from to the appropriate entrance to scooter/bike rack.
