Could all parents please be reminded of Safeguarding School Policy that if a child is ill or absent from school, school MUST be notified of the absence and the reason for absence before 9.00am.  We have a specially designated line on 02920621625  (press1) to leave a message with the details to ensure your child is nor recorded as 'Missing in education' If you fail to notify the school, the absence will be recorded as unauthorised, which may result in a Fixed Penalty Notice or a referral to the Educational Welfare Officer.
