Parents of St Dwynwen, St Tydfil and St Gwynno - Costumes

Dear families of St Dwynwen, St Tydfil and St Gwynno,

We are currently preparing for our Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat production (dates TBC when Year 6 transition days are announced). We would like the children to start bringing in their costumes as soon as possible so that we have them all in school in good time. Please could the costumes be brought in on a hanger, in a bag and with the child’s name on. If your child has one of these roles, please can they bring in following:

Chorus – shepherds costume or use pyjamas, tea towel for the head held in place with a tie or string and a dressing gown.

Joseph’s Brothers – Shepherds costume or use pyjamas, tea towel for the head held in place with a tie or string and a dressing gown.

Jacob – More decorative shepherds costume or use pyjamas, tea towel for the head held in place with a tie or string and a dressing gown.

Potiphar and Pharaoh Dancers – Belly dancer costume with a veil and lots of bangles and paste jewellery if possible. Shorts to be worn underneath.

Cook – Cook costume.

Butler – Black trousers, black jacket, white shirt, dickey bow, gloves and a tea towel to drape over the arm – holding a tray.

Potiphar – A fez, sunglasses, scarf, suit like. Very outlandish.

Mrs Potiphar – A party dress with beads and bangles, crown, long gloves, feather in the hair – glamorous.

Pharaoh – Pharaoh costume.

Joseph – We have the coat. Josephs will require a shepherd costume. Pyjamas decorated in arrows for the prison scene and a pharaoh costume.

Thank you for your continued support.

Kind regards,

Mr Cobb, Mrs Zabaneh, Mrs Houston, Miss Chinnick, Mr Shankland and Mr Donelan
