St Joseph's R.C. Primary School

Trip to Barry island 18th July 2022

Good evening Saint Joseph's parents and Grandparents.

The trip to Barry Island is due to take place on Monday 18th July. The weather forecast is very hot for that day. Children will have access to the sea and all health and safety precautions have been recorded in the communications below. However, Ms, Chinnick and I need at least two parents to take cars so sports equipment can be taken and in the case of an emergency to ferry a child to assistance with Ms Chinnick if necessary. If any umbrellas can be provided by as many parents as is possible and brought into school by Friday to be transported to the venue bv the amazing parents and grandparents who are able to provide transport, this would be much appreciated so children can sit in the shade if required - a gazebo would be amazing if that could be provided. The promenade is also available if it becomes too hot. A letter will go out tomorrow for consent and a request for a donation of £2.50 for costs and frame photograph at the end of the year - I think a picture of all the children in the sea would be brilliant. Tell me what you think! The children raised a great amount of money for the trip and the IT, literacy and numeracy work produced by the children was amazing. If you can come to the trip and offer your services, please ring and you will be put into contact with Mrs H. or Ms. Chinnick.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing as many family members at the event as we can to celebrate year six's time in Saint Joseph's after what has been a challenging number of years.

Kind regards,

Mrs Houston and Ms. Chinnick.
