Message from St Joseph's Church Children's Liturgy Team

The Children's Liturgy Team at St Joseph's Church are planning to restart children's liturgy at the 9.15 am mass at St Joseph's from Oct 16th onwards for Primary age children.

Who is it for?

Our children’s liturgy is a fun way for Primary age children  to understand the Gospel and to get to know other children in the Parish.

When and what time?

Children’s liturgy takes place during the Sunday 9.15 am Mass

What do they do?

Children’s liturgy is designed to give children an opportunity to explore the week’s Gospel message in a fun and age appropriate way.

Children’s liturgy takes place while the liturgy of the word (first reading, psalm, second reading and Gospel) and homily takes place in church – usually around 25 minutes. The children process back in to church in time for the offertory and often present back to the priest the pictures or activities that they have been working on.

Come and join us!!!
