Day 3

'Wood' you believe it, it's time to suit up again for our Woodland Scramble! We jumped right in to the stream and scrambled under and over logs and branches, made a 'hot' tub, belly flopped a Mexican Wave and went right under in 'The Coffin'. We really impressed our instructors with our give it a go attitude and the way we helped members of another school complete the course  - our teachers are very proud of us!
Bull's Eye! Watch out Robin Hood because the St Joseph's archers are in town and we're pretty sharp shooters. We took part in a competition over three rounds and our points kept going up and up - well done Gracie in 1st place, Ben in 2nd place and Lorenzo in 3rd place. I wonder if we will win the overall prize in tomorrow's presentation?
Disco fever! Don your dancing shoes and let your hair down, it's disco time. We can't wait to boogie the night away and round off a fantastic trip - adults, it's time to put your ear plugs in!
We had so much fun on the Mud Assault course this afternoon! We had to wear our muckiest clothes to crawl through netting, climb over walls, run across bridges and slide down fireman's poles - all covered in a thick layer of gloopy mud! We finished the course with a rope swing and a splash through a freezing cold mud pond in an impressive time. Our instructor was impressed with our team work skills and how we helped all our team mates over the tricky parts - no one gets left behind in St Joseph's!

Don't look down anyone! We had a thrilling time at Pendine Towers this morning, in fact, you could say it was the 'height' of our day! We scaled the tall tower and bounced our way back down, clambered up the high ropes course, jumping from pole to pole using swinging ropes and even completed challenges like catching a ball and star jumping 10ft off the ground. Of course, no high ropes course would be complete without a bit of flossing on the beam! Our teachers couldn't believe their eyes when we flipped upside down using the ropes and I think we even impressed the instructors a bit!

Having an 'ice' time at Pendine Sands! We enjoyed a relaxing stroll down to the sea front to treat ourselves to an ice cream and take in the view - the perfect way to end a busy day. We tried to spot a pod of dolphins or a whale but no luck today unfortunately. We enjoyed chatting to the children from the other schools and making some new friends ready for high school. Our teachers struggled up the very steep hill on the way back so we told them lots of funny jokes to keep them going. We will all sleep soundly tonight!
Suiting up ready for our sea activities! We're about to head to the beach and dive into our second activity - body boarding and surfing. We squeezed into our wetsuits and life jackets and we're ready to dive in!
Lace up your trainers and zip up your jackets - we're off on our hike! Up and down hills, steep steps and grassy trails all the way to the top of the cliffs to gaze across the Bay and count the waves. With all this fresh air in our lungs we're sure we'll sleep well on our first night!
We're making a splash at Morfa Bay! We grabbed our boards, caught some waves and had a wipeout or two. We listened carefully to our instructors and helped each other surf to the shore.  We can't wait to 'sea' what other activities we will get up to this trip!
