What a fabulous week we have had learning all about Italy. We looked at a map and talked about how we would travel there. We investigated foods that come from Italy and we made our own pizzas and vanilla ice-cream. We used our creative talents to make pasta pictures. We discovered that there are many famous buildings in Italy and we tried to replicate some of them. We created leaning towers from sticks of spaghetti and cheerios - it was quite tricky putting the cheerios onto the sticks! We tasted Italian meats and traditional milk cakes. We finished the week with a lovely international celebration.
