This week in Maths we have been learning all about different 2d and 3d shapes and their properties. We have been making some of these shapes on peg boards with loom bands to help strengthen our fingers for writing - it was a tricky task but the children loved the challenge! We have been looking at the book 'Mouse Paint' in literacy and practiced identifying the first sounds we hear in different colours. Hopefully, the mice from the story have stopped running all over my whiteboard with painted feet by next week. We have seen some fantastic creations being built by the children from schools to houses to ramps.
