When we came into school on Monday, our classroom was all ready to celebrate a birthday. Our shop was selling birthday items - cards, candles, cakes, biscuits, party hats and our home corner had lots of Happy birthday banners up. We sold and bought the items in the shop using real pennies and then set up the home corner to celebrate.

We compared different sized candles to find the biggest and the smallest.

We talked about the candles and have been using the word"isn't". Mrs Wheeler asked us - Which candle isn't green? and then we had to find it!

We've also started to make our Christmas decorations - but they are going to be a surprise!
