This week, we have been learning about hedgehogs. We learned about hibernation, what hedgehogs eat and how they protect themselves. We made hedgehog bread, models from plasticene and used our snipping and cutting skills to make hedgehog spines. We played "Hedgehog pop". We rolled a dice and had to count and press the hedgehog's nose the number of times shown on the dice. We didn't want the hedgehog to pop and throw out all his spines! On Wednesday, Afternoon Nursery had a visit from the Teddy Bear Hospital.
