This week, we began looking at different celebrations. We made firework pictures using different techniques. First we printed with tubes and paint, then we made firework string pictures. We sorted symbols we would find in a Baptism from those we would not find. We have been role playing a baptism and baptising our dolls.

When we came into school on Monday, the shop was all ready for us. Marks and Spencers very kindly donated some of their little shop items, so we spent some time opening the packets - it was like a lucky dip! We have been using real money and pretending to be shopkeepers and customers. On Thursday, we looked at different coins and tried to match all the ones that were the same. We also went into the woods and played with the parachute. On Friendship Friday, we thought about what makes a friend and told our friends what we like about them. What a busy week back we have had!
