Both St Dwynwen and St Tydfil thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cardiff Castle where we learned all about WW2.

In Maths, we used a place value grid to multiply any number by 10, 100 or 1000. In English, we planned and wrote a set of instructions about how to look after a pet. The children used their DCF skills to create a Microsoft Sway with clear instructions about how to look after their pet. In Context, we used a scale on a map to calculate the distance refugees have travelled to other countries around Ukraine. They then converted the distances from km to miles. Lastly, In RE, we learned about how different artists showed the story of the Prodigal Son. We compared the key features of each painting.
