What We Have Been Learning

In RE, we have been learning about God’s Creation and the message of John 1:1–5, 16–18. We explored how Jesus brings light, life and grace into the world. We also learnt about Felix culpa, which means that God can bring good out of sin, and how Jesus helps to heal and restore what was broken by sin.

In Maths, we have been practising addition and subtraction, exploring place value, and strengthening our knowledge of number bonds.

In our topic work, we have been busy classifying animals and plants. We also learnt how to create and use branching keys to identify different living things.

Our visit to the Logos Hope ship was full of fun and learning! We enjoyed a tour of the ship and discovered a wonderful collection of books in its valuable library. It was an exciting opportunity to learn something new!
