St Joseph's R.C. Primary School
During the Month of June 2026
During the month of June, we were very busy and enjoyed taking part in many exciting activities. One of my favourite projects was designing a Peace T-shirt to share an important message with others.
We used blue to represent peace, green for hope and yellow for happiness. We also included the words “Peace Begins With Me” because we believe that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. This project helped us understand Catholic Social Teaching, especially the belief that every person is made in the image of God and deserves dignity, respect and love. It inspired us to think about how we can be a peacemaker by including others, speaking kindly and helping those around us.
We also enjoyed taking part in a music workshop, where we had the opportunity to practise our drumming skills and learn more about rhythm and teamwork.
During International Week, we learned all about Greece. We created a fact file about the country, designed a flyer to welcome visitors and built a 3D model of a Greek temple. These activities helped us develop our research, creativity and design skills while learning about Greek history and culture.
June was a busy and enjoyable month full of learning, creativity and new experiences.
