St Joseph's R.C. Primary School
Week beginning 13.4.26
Our first week back from Easter has been a busy one. Some of our Year 5 learners went away for a few days to manor adventure and we had some extra children from St Tydfil in our class.
In Re this week, our new Branch 5 topic To the Ends of the Earth has been introduced with our key words. We also explored the 5 glorious mysteries and reflected on why these are important to us. In Maths, we have continued to look at fractions. This included adding and subtracting fractions. Then onto looking at equivalent fractions to a half and a quarter. In Literacy, we have started our new writing journey which is a discussion text. We have read the story 'The dot' and some activities about this story and the message behind it. In context we begun our new topic of Health and Wellbeing. We developed our own questions about what we would like to learn. Finally, in Welsh we have started learning how to respond to the question What do you have? And also looked at this in the 3rd person.
