Week beginning 09.02.26

In Religion this week, we have been decorating our prayer table with observational paintings of daffodils as we step into spring and prepare for Easter after half-term. 

In maths, we have continued practising addition using the add sign and equals sign in our basic sums. We have been using different resources to practice this. 

In phonics, this week our sound is angry red ‘ai’. We have been playing lots of fun phonics games as a class and in our groups to practice our sounds and blending. 

On Friday last week we had a very special visit from Rhiannon the Bronze medal winning paralympian. She ran a very fun fitness circuit with us, which we completed with Year 1 and Nursery.
