This week, pupils learned about the meaning and purpose of the O Antiphons, with a special focus on “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.” They understood that this is a special chant sung in the final week of Advent, a time when we prepare our hearts to welcome Jesus. Through art, pupils explored the different O Antiphons and how they are shared around the world.

Pupils also learned about the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary, which help us prayerfully reflect on the Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Presentation, and the Finding of Jesus in the Temple.

To end the week, we came together as a school to celebrate Christmas carols at church. Everyone enjoyed singing together and sharing the joy of the season.
