This week we saw the beginning of Advent. We have started our festive season with a busy week. 

In Religion, we have looked at the story of David advising his son Solomon to be King and how to be a good leader. We have also completed our RE assessment where we have reviewed all the knowledge from the first few lessons. We now are looking at Christmas traditions in the lead up to Christmas, such as a Jesse Tree and Antiphons. In maths, we have been practising our times tables and using them to solve problems. In literacy, we have continued to learn skills for our persuasive speech such as rhetorical questions and positive connectives. In context, we explored Cardiff as a city of Sanctuary.
