In RE we compared and contrasted the Lucan and Matthean annunciation narratives and made links between the Old Testament promises and Mary’s fulfilment of these promises. In Maths, we calculated the area and perimeter of rectangles and irregular shapes. In English, we continued learning the skills to include in Newspaper Report writing. This included direct speech and colons and dashes to add more information or create tension. Lastly, in Context we took part in open your eyes week to see what jobs companies have as we look to the future.

We also had our class mass with the theme of 'Hope for the future'.

Our football team also competed in a mini tournament and played very well.
