St Joseph's R.C. Primary School
Week beginning 13.10.25
This week we had a week full of activities. This included our trip to Cardiff Bay. On our trip we learned about diversity in Cardiff and why so many people decided to come here over the years. We also had a chance to use a compass and find our way round using a map. At the end of the day we went on a boat trip too. It was also Show Racism the Red Card day on Friday, so thank you to everyone for sending their children in a piece of clothing that was red.
In RE this week, we have reviewed our learning for Creation and Covenant. The children have demonstrated all their learning over this term in a final written piece in their books, which they worked very hard on. In context, all the children made handprints using paint after mixing colours to what they feel best represents them. Our trip also helped us explore more learning for context. In maths, we have begun our new topic which is telling the time. We have looked at analogue clocks and also 12 hour digital time. Finally in literacy, we have been improving our writing and reviewing how to use paragraphs in our writing.
