This week was the beginning of our playground leaders. Some members of the class shared some of the rules we came up with as a class in assembly. 
 

In RE this week we have continued to learn about Abraham's family tree and have looked at the story of Joseph and his brothers. We also had our welcome mass this week. In maths, we have continued looking at place value and have explored additive number systems and the invention of zero. We challenged ourselves with how many numbers we could make with one digit and zeros. In literacy, we have been practising skills ready to write our own story next week. We have learned about prepositions, time connectives and reviewed speech. In context, we began to research our class saint and continue to consider Cardiff as a diverse society. In Welsh, we have written our birthdays and have created a Welsh display in our room to show everyone's birthdays.
 

Finally on Friday it was fairtrade day, we made posters to show our commitment to fairtrade and had a meeting with a Kenyan tea farmer on zoom with lots of other schools in the UK. Thank you for the fairtrade donations.
