Educational Visit to Cogmoor Water Treatment Works in Ddinas Powys. (Part of our context for learning project for the spring term.)
It is my intention to visit Cogmoor Water Treatment Works. This is a fantastic trip in which children will participate in science experiments and have a tour of the site so they learn to understand the significance of water in our lives. Details will follow as soon as the trip is organised. The children will require a packed lunch and parents will be required to attend if they are able. Although access to the facility is free, there will be a cost for the bus. More details to follow.

Cogmoors:

Our activities, led by seconded teachers, equip pupils to become global citizens, with an understanding of sustainability and its impact on the local community. Thousands of pupils visit our Education Centre or receive a visit to their school each year and have a fantastic time - and it’s all FREE!
