Dosbarth Gwynno: Dialogue and Encounter

As part of Year3’s learning in RE we have learnt about the similarities and differences that exist between the Christian and Islam faiths. This was extended to comparing the holy books of these faiths. Children have participated in a class collective worship on ‘One Body’ which helped to consolidate how the events of the Passover in Exodus and the events of the Last Supper in the Gospels are linked. We have learnt about the significance of the Sedar Plate and other Jewish artefacts. Year 3 also learnt about the Ten Commandments given to Moses and we have created a child’s version of Commandments that the children thought they should follow in their lives.
