This week we have discussed the Catholic Social Teaching principle of 'solidarity' from Shristi the Sun Bear. We talked about how can work together to help those who need us. We made a welcome poster in many languages after we considered how it might feel to be a refugee having to start their life in a new and different environment. As we started our new topic on 'Film', we used money to buy tickets for the St David Cinema where we watched 'The Lorax', a film all about a town with no plants, just plastic and a boy who wanted to bring the plants back! We had a wonderful sports day and the pupils all tried their very best and had a wonderful time. We also had our class liturgy and we talked about how important our families are in our lives.
