Saint Joseph’s Primary School - Goodwill Day at Mynydd Bychan May 17th 2024

Dear families of the children of Dosbarth Gwynno.

As a class, we went to perform and represent Saint Joseph’s with the song  ‘The Goodness of God’ as part of the Goodwill celebrations at Mynydd Bychan Primary School. I would like to thank the staff, in particular Mr M. Williams, for organising this event and for the hospitality of all the staff in Mynydd Bychan – we had a wonderful  visit that has  been an annual  feature of Cathays schools in 30 years– it was a joyful event and reminded the children of the importance of peace and treating one another with respect and dignity. Many thanks to the grandparents and parents of Saint Joseph’s for making and serving drinks to all feeder schools and going the extra mile to support our children and the children in our local community – Mrs O’Brien  (Nan), Mrs O’Brien (Mum) and Mrs Walters (Mum.)

I did not have to conduct the children, they performed on their own, and I was filled with joy with their endeavours. The song will be performed at the Heateacher’s assembly on Monday. I am so proud of you all for your performance and your behaviour and presenting Saint Joseph’s in such a positive light.! Da iawn pawb!
