St Joseph's R.C. Primary School
Week beginning 22-4-2024
In our Mantle Approach scenario, pupils assumed the roles of NRW Environment Officers to investigate fly-tipping near the River Taff. Using grid references, they located the site and discovered black bin bags along the riverbank. Armed with cameras, they documented the rubbish for investigation. This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of environmental stewardship and empowered them to address local challenges. Through problem-solving and advocacy, students honed their skills as responsible citizens, demonstrating the importance of active engagement in preserving our natural heritage. Their actions exemplify values of environmental responsibility, instilling a lifelong commitment to sustainable practices.
