Year One Weekly News
This week we have had two celebrations led by Father Ambrose. On Tuesday we had a special mass to remember all the people who died in the wars.
On Thursday we had our own class Prayer Service when we were able to pray for all our families and friends and think about saying thank you for all that they do for us. We listened to a story from St Paul's letter's that tell us that God our Father wants us to love like Jesus. We sang a song 'We have the Whole World in his Hands'
Siya told us she felt very happy after the Prayer Service.
Samuel told us Father Ambrose asked us to love one another.
Reading
This week we have been trying extremely hard with our reading with Mrs. Evans and Mrs Jefferies. Some of us have moved on to the next level books so we are going to practise hard with our home reading and access our Bugs Club as often as you can. How many books can you read before Christmas. Keep your home diaries up to date. We have also been practising our letter formations using the App ' Hairy Letters' on the IPads.
